Reportedly, a local file inclusion exploit gave the hacker(s) a way into the internet.
Breach notification site LeakedSource said it has verified that 339,774,493 AdultFriendFinder.com accounts were compromised last month.
This almost certainly indicates that Adult Friend Finder held onto users accounts even after members deleted their accounts.
Further, more than 15 million of these deleted accounts were related to AdultFriendFinder.com, the publication claims.
The seventh most used password, and the first to be an actual word was…password.
This is not the first time that the site has suffered the first security breach.
