So why isnt it?
The absence of any noticeable life may be an argument in favour of us being in a simulation.
And that intersection of sets has to be enough to establish a self-sustaining civilisation.
But its not going to be a vacation jaunt.
The 200,000+ applicants to the admittedly flawed Mars One project is an example of this.
There would be no trees growing.
There would be no oxygen or nitrogen that are just there.
The regular shuttle runs to another planet will become more feasible and realistic believes Musk.
However, this is not the end of SpaceXs plans.
