If you have reserved/registered for Windows 10, this would make sense.
Also the 6GB upgrade files will be a burden on those who have a slow or metered/capped internet connection.
As the download takes place without the users permission, their internet connections may slow down drastically.
When the upgrade is ready, the customer will be prompted to install Windows 10 on the machine.
