We are all aware by now that no Windows 10 Update has come without hiccups.
Users are reporting problems with Intels Optane Memory on platforms likeTwitter, theIntel forum, and the standardFeedback Hub.
While Microsoft is aware of the issue, it is still not listed on the official known issues page.
This service is necessary for the Optane Memory Pinning function to be locked in memory.
However, Windows 10 still tries to launch while running into multiple error messages and even performance problems.
The warning pop-up reads that the Intel Optane Memory Pinning couldnt load the specified module.
Unable to load DLL iaStorAfsServiceApi.dll: The specified module could not be found.
(Exception from HRESULT: 0x8), the message reads.
To solve the issues with Intel Optane, go to Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features.
Select and uninstall Intel Optane Pinning Explorer Extensions.
