The team even captured the pretty image of the Pinwheel Galaxy, which is 21 million light-years away.
This is not the first telescope that is being used on the Moon.
But the Chinese telescope is the first to be operated remotely from Earth.
The fact that its a robotic equipment makes it a lot more challenging to keep it operational.
