Called TikTok Stories, the new feature will allow users to post short videos that automatically vanish after 24-hours.
It works similarly to stories functions on other social media apps like Instagram and Snapchat.
Users can tap on the Create button on the newly added slide-over sidebar to create and share a Story.
They can also add the usual captions, music, and text to their Stories.
They can even tap on a users profile picture to load a story.
