The US Military is working withDefence Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA)on the project.
DARPA says that that the interface will be a bio-compatible equipment measuring no larger than 1 cubic centimetre.
NESD will develop such technology similar to a modem, necessary to communicate between human mind and machine.
